Cisco Capital is currently seeking a Regional Sales Leader for the Cisco Capital Business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The ideal candidate should have strong executive-level communication skills, as well as experience in building customer and partner relationships, territory planning, segmentation, and revenue generation.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for strategically driving Cisco Capital's solutions and maintaining a deep understanding of market opportunities, market access, competitive conditions, industry practices, and partner value propositions.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Cisco Capital EMEA, you will support the leadership team in day-to-day business activities and help plan and execute key strategic projects from development to successful implementation. You will also support management in decision-making processes and regularly communicate to coordinate and optimize existing processes, with the goal of increasing efficiency and productivity to ultimately drive business growth.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Develop and execute the sales strategy with a team of highly qualified Financial Solution Managers
- Maximize Cisco’s and Cisco Capital´s opportunities within the market (Enterprise, Mid-Market and Public accounts) and meet and exceed monthly and annual booking/revenue targets.
- Cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external to Cisco, including partners, and collaborating closely with Cisco sales leadership to identify opportunities for Cisco Capital.
- Assisting in acquiring new partnerships on C-level by supporting external communication and participating in key negotiations
- Maintaining relationships with the entire workforce, ensuring efficient and effective operations while motivating and developing team members.
- Identifying opportunities for operational excellence and improvements and efficiencies within Cisco.
- Responsible for sales planning, accurate business reporting, including monthly forecasts, weekly commitments, and pipeline development.
- Motivating, developing, and managing a team of highly qualified and successful professionals, leading by example
- Educating Cisco and Cisco Partner Account Managers/Sales Leaders on the benefits of creative financing solutions in increasing, creating, or pulling forward sales opportunities.
- Providing creative deal structuring for strategic sales opportunities and presenting, negotiating, and closing financial solutions with customers and partners.
- Maintain an awareness of competitor activities
Who you’ll work with
You will report to the Cisco Capital EMEA Sales Leader and mentor, guide, and manage Cisco Capital Financial Solution Managers in the region.
You will build deep relationships at all levels of the GEO with Cisco sales leadership, sales force, partners, and customers, with a specific focus on the CFO and key financial decision makers.
You will work closely with the Cisco Capital middle- and back-offices and align with colleagues in other countries to share and develop best practice.
Who you are
- Proven strong track record in sales with experience in solution led selling of end-to-end financial solutions
- Proven track record in sales management or an extremely strong sales record that shows readiness to move into a sales leadership role
- Shows pronounced people leadership skills and is able to engage, coach, and motivate effectively
- Confident closer able to communicate and negotiate at board / director / CFO-level and has a track record of influencing such decision makers
- Demonstrated knowledge for managing and developing sales teams, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management is essential.
- Proficient in Financial Solutions-related pricing, documentation, and accounting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, both oral and in writing
- Ability to structure complex financial transactions
- Outstanding relationship builder and be able to expand existing relationships
- Self-starter and self-motivator, driven by achievement with high levels of initiative
- High attention to accuracy and detail, absolute integrity
