Your Mission:

You are actively shaping the energy transition by enabling the wide adoption of energy storage technology with our clients in Germany and all over the world. You are collaborating with Accenture experts from strategy consulting to technical battery experts to conduct (market) research, develop tools and models, and offer services based on deep technical expertise in the whole field of (post) lithium-ion batteries. Through our go-to-market strategy, customized business models, market analysis, and technical expertise, you empower clients in the whole battery value chain, from raw materials to end-customer applications and recycling. You stay ahead by keeping up with technical and market advancements, acquiring new projects and clients, while enjoying an entrepreneurial environment with unlimited growth opportunities.

What you can expect:

• Project work

  You provide expert guidance to customers on battery recycling processes and define technical specifications for equipment/processes. You develop and execute go-to-market strategies, customized business models, market analyses, and supply chain strategies for the clients in battery recycling and circular economy.

• Business development

  Depending on level, you acquire new projects/clients in the battery value chain focusing on battery and material production and recycling. You stay up to date with the latest advancements in sustainability, battery recycling markets, and new recycling technologies.

• Portfolio development

  You strengthen the recycling segment in the battery team while collaborating with other cross-functional groups. You conduct research and develop internal database & services around battery mass manufacturing.

• Master or Diploma degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry/metallurgy, or related fields; doctorate is a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of battery recycling processes, metallurgy, or similar topics; experience in consulting is a plus.

• Basic understanding of sustainability and circularity principles, waste management, life cycle assessments, reverse logistics, battery recycling markets, and/or environmental regulations.

• Outstanding communication skills, strong analytical and conceptual abilities, and the flexibility to travel temporarily/work at customer site.

• Business fluent command in English and preferably German, additional languages are a plus.
