Job Description
The Field Marketing & Training Manager EMEA's main responsibility is to drive impactful marketing activities, training initiatives and customers support for Sirtex products. He/she will oversee technical training and support of new and existing customers such as interventional radiologists, hepatologists and medical oncologists for SIRTEX products, in close collaboration with the sales team. This support includes specialist product training and marketing activities. He/she is also responsible for training, mentoring, coaching and developing sales representatives. He/she analyzes training and customer needs within the salesforce to develop appropriate tools (training and marketing). He/she recommends technical and soft skill training (internal and external). He/she helps individual members of the sales team to constantly improve their product and market knowledge, and their soft skills to reach their full potential. This responsibility is not limited to internal staff but also includes partners and distributors. In addition, the EMEA field marketing and training manager compliance and best practice with product handling procedures and promotion.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
- The Field Marketing & Training Manager will report to the Director of Marketing, EMEA
RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES:
- Support customer training, new centre openings and set-ups in collaboration with Key Account Managers in the EMEA region
- Champion the continual improvement of technical, clinical, oncology, territory management, and sales knowledge across the EMEA Salesforce.
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and seasoned sales professionals in the region.
- Partner with EMEA sales management and marketing teams to identify opportunities to enhance salesforce productivity.
- Accompany sales representatives on cases and use visits to coach and develop.
- Identify needs from Key Account Managers and treating physicians
- Create and Develop impactful marketing tools, materials and initiatives to drive sales
- Research external Salesforce development opportunities.
- Ensure appropriate mentoring of new sales representatives.
- Develop and facilitate e-learning initiatives.
- Analyze and address product related training needs.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL PREREQUISITES AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical, Science or equivalent degree;
- At least 3 years sales experience in Interventional Oncology with proven success in sales;
- Ideally possess extensive product (SIR-Spheres Y-90microspheres) knowledge and experience;
- Training experience is essential;
- Adaptable, quick learner with the ability to find simple ways to express complex ideas;
- Highly motivated with a wide degree of creativity and latitude:
- Highly developed customer service orientation;
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Ability to build strong relationships and motivate, internal and external to the organization;
- Openness to continuously learn and improve;
- Willingness to travel in the EMEA region and work in a global team of professionals;
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of at least one additional language: German, French, Spanish and Italian would be a plus.
Additional Information
This position can be done remotely or from our Bonn office. The candidate will need to travel extensively throughout Europe and will need to be located in one of the following Countries (Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain)
