Back office Sales Support (m/f/d) – Part-Time, Temporary (1 year) in Mannheim bei ABB
In this position, you will provide general administrative assistance to the Traction Division Germany and support the entire team, especially the sales and service sales team. You will organize and act as a point of contact for inquiries, providing solutions for those within your scope, and escalating those that require it. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes and procedures within the Division, as well as activities related to back office sales. You will evaluate the urgency of issues and provide confidential assistance to the management team.
Business Manager - E2E
- Assisting the Traction Team in organizing business-critical events, including making travel arrangements, booking venues, and arranging catering
- Preparing travel expense reports for the Traction Team and ensuring a smooth process until approval
- Scheduling meetings, taking minutes, maintaining databases, and producing reports and presentations for team managers
- Supporting the back office of the sales department and handling corresponding activities such as preparing offers
- Researching and compiling special reports, presentations, organization charts, and internal correspondence on behalf of the team manager
- Implementing processes and initiating continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Drafting business communications, ensuring knowledge sharing, and keeping colleagues informed of any changes to processes and procedures
- Successfully completed commercial training or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in an administrative or organizational role
- First experience with SAP, especially with the tool Concur would be desirable
- The ability to prioritize and multitask, with excellent planning skills
- A friendly and approachable demeanor, along with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to tasks
- Ability to work under pressure even in demanding situations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in German, English is desirable
