Responsibilities
- Our global development team is looking for a communicative team player who is enthusiastic about the latest trends and innovations. You support customers and colleagues in development projects as a reliable and competent partner. - Serving as a core member of the pre-development project team, focused on functionality & customer-lead solutions
- Driving the construction of innovative technical solutions & applications aimed at future markets
- Ensuring validation methods are upheld through implementing, commissioning, & evaluating applicable calculations, simulations, & tests
- Conducting benchmark analyses
- Preparing specifications & technical documents for costing
- Offering expertise by pro-actively identifying opportunities to optimize & innovate products, balancing the art of involving key work groups & stakeholders needed for successful implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field (e.g. Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation Technology, Process Engineering, Physics, etc.), Advanced degree preferred
- Commercial or Technician Training experience is an advantage (e.g. toolmaking, test technician, maintenance, etc.)
- Passion for new technologies
- Fluent Business-level English & German
- Nice to Haves:
- Hands-on Technical experience, preferably in the field of Automotive Components or Systems Development
- Industry or materials experience in the field of Automotive Radar or ADAS/AD, coating, or plastics
- Understanding & application experience with development methods & quality management tools, like Design for Six Sigma, DOE, FMEA
- High degree of initiative, willingness to perform, & determination
