Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis and other eVTOLs off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. Our aim is to offer affordable, on-demand air taxi services that fly people to their destination quickly and safely. Job Description - You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Finance Managers to build up a world-class Corporate Finance function.
- You will enhance Volocopter’s scale-up by partaking in fundraising and financing matters and taking ownership of financial models as well as investor materials and presentations. Specifically, you will plan and coordinate investor, banking, and other financial activities.
- You will support in providing variance analyses on financial ratios, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances, and adjusting outlook models to reflect operational adjustments.
- The role will include the consistent exercise of independent judgment and complete discretion in Company significant matters, as well as strict attention to detail. An ability to set and meet tight deadlines will be critical for success.
- You support in the management and coordination of live transactions and interactions with stakeholders as you build your network and experience
- You will assist in the creation of (legal) documentation linked to the deal execution of a diverse range of equity and debt funding events;
- You will provide support for the investor relations team in new and existing investor relationship management
- You work together with Accounting, Controlling & Treasury functions to optimize Volocopter’s finance processes
- Management of day-to-day and ad-hoc corporate finance reporting & analytic requests with accurate and timely information
Qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other relevant fields. Gap Year students also welcome
- Previous experience through internships, preferably in investment banking, consulting, or in fast-growing technology startups
- Proven numerical skills, incl. demonstrated ability of financial modeling skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Credibility and gravitas, with both external and internal stakeholders
- Strong intellect, combined with excellent commercial and analytical skills
- You are a teamwork enthusiast, looking to work in a diverse and ambitious environment
- Willingness to travel
- Business fluent in English, German is a plus
