Security Specialist (Disclosure) in Wiesbaden bei US Immediate Office of the Commander in Chief of the U S Army

Duties

• Serves as the 7th Army ISR Directorate Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO).
• Guides and assists on foreign disclosure activities and ensures terms, conditions and requirements are in conformance with National Disclosure Policy and applicable Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs).
• Assists the 7th Army ISR Directorate Special Security Officer and Personnel Security Section as needed.
• Deploys with the 7th Army Operational Command Post as the Foreign Disclosure Officer, ensuring the timely sharing of classified military information with coalition partners.
• Implements Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) with other agencies as necessary to facilitate the rapid processing of disclosure requests.
• Works with G2 Directorate Security Branch to ensure the proper handling, marking, transportation, and destruction of all classified military information.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.
• This position is designated as a KEY position, meaning the position cannot be vacated during war or a national emergency without seriously impairing the mission.
