Job Title: Supply Chain Manager /Einkaufsleiter
Location: Germany
Job Overview:
Support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Procurement & Logistics’ approved activities. Analyze, propose and implement local P&L actions. Benchmark category using data analysis to support developing, planning and implementing P&L strategy focused on optimizing costs, quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products for assigned group of categories. Ensure execution in accordance with Company, P&L and Supply Base Management instructions and procedures.
What will you do?
Sourcing strategy:
Contributes to definition, implementation, and execution of spend management and sourcing strategies for direct materials and services from locally & globally for tender & execution projects.
Performance targets:
Supports annual targets, together with HUB P&L Manager, for cost reduction, supplier quality, supplier performance (OTD and OQD). Supports monthly monitoring of region’s KPI results and encourages continuous improvement.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Drives best practice negotiations with main suppliers. Identifies and directs with strategic suppliers and Strategic Supplier Account Managers (SSAMs) activities and processes to create additional market value for the organization including visit to suppliers places for vendor development / vendor relations management / contract finalizations
Spend management :
Responsible for contract management and negotiation; assesses local & global markets; implements targets/standards/processes.
Sourcing
Designs and implements plans for local & global sourcing to reach the business targets. Supports regional and global strategic sourcing initiatives as required.
Excellence
Applies and implements P&L standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
Special programs
Designs and implements cost-out programs and/or processes to reach financial targets.
Change management
Executes and implements new directions within the area of responsibility.
Compliance
Applies standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations.
Training
Delivers and participates in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.
Communication
Executes effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units.
Process
Standardizes processes and implements routines along with Table of Authority as per Group directives/instructions
Market Knowledge
Takes keen interest in finding out and sharing knowledge about new developments, market trends, public known competitors’ products and activities.
Risk Management
Manages risks to avoid delays or reputational damage. Opportunity management towards contracted supply chain partners / sub-contractors.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 10 years of experiences in Procurement & Logistics for Substation T&D Projects & / or Transportation (Metro / Monorail) Electrification Projects.
- He/she should be having extensive exposure to procurement of major items and Services like Instrument Transformers, Battery, Charger, UPS, Third Rail & Stringer system, Substation Hardware (string hardware, clamps & connectors etc.), Al. tube, conductor, HVAC etc. with in-depth product knowledge & extensive knowledge of domestic / global supply base management.

Education Required:
- Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.
