The EHSQ (Environment, Health, Safety and Quality) Service Coordinator will provide leadership and direction in all EHS and quality related questions on site. In this position you will be a key function in the preparation and the realization of the O&M works (preventive, corrective and retrofit) by applying and controlling the customer, local and GE EHS requirements. This includes to coordinate with your site management team on the service operation vessel (SOV) and other support functions. Driving operational excellence, safety and quality is key priority for this role. You will be responsible for assuring the quality of the WTG within the Service phase of the project. Through Quality Management and Quality Control, you will define EHS/QI risks/opportunities, implementation of prevention, maintenance and improvement of relevant procedures and tools.

Prevention
- Provide leadership and engagement to cultivate and embed an exceptional culture of continuous improvement with respect to EHSQ, acting as the site focus for compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental legislation, quality and local regulations.
- Support the development of the health, safety, environmental, quality and management arrangements, in line with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, to ensure adherence with all site procedures and local regulations.
- Provide EHSQ guidance and support to the site teams as required
- Develop and deliver site specific EHS inductions for all personnel on site.
- Ensure that risk assessments are communicated to anyone who is involved or could be affected by the task before the task begins.
- Drive “toolbox” safety talks, safety meetings and other safety related talks.
- Conduct regular documented EHS inspections.
- Deliver a cross functional support on site regarding all relevant EHS topics (hazardous substances, lifting operations, …)
Correction
- Manage any on site incidents/accidents to ensure the required actions are implemented expediently and assist with conducting accident/incident investigations and embed all learning within the daily work executions.
- Advise the management of unsafe acts/conditions observed on the project site for prompt action to implement preventive measure to avoid re-occurrence.
- Drive constantly site related PAC and Safer cases opened to lead to a safe workable environment & and atmosphere at site
Records
- Ensure proper record keeping (training, certification, PPE, audits, inspections, occupational safety and health monitoring activities, …).
- Identify, monitor and review the sites EHSQ performance, identifying and taking proactive measures to improve performance shortfalls.
- Provide reports as required concerning key metrics such as safety statistics, environmental performance and incident reporting.
