Your Scope

Contribute to the proper execution of the accounting function for a number of entities within the Ardo Group, with a view to a timely periodic reporting of the balance sheet and income statement according to Group rules. The key results areas are:

Supervising the correct execution of the processes leading to the (automated or other) entries in the general and analytical accounts of the entities in scope, including:
Sales and revenue recognition
Purchases and inventory movements
Fixed assets
Financial transactions
....
Carrying out and/or validating specific entries in the accounts (e.g. payroll,...);
Performing the monthly closing tasks, hereby monitoring the quality of the accounts, including substantive justification of a number of accounts (e.g. transit accounts, some intercompany accounts,...);
Contributing to the various financial reports for the entities in scope, and explaining important evolutions in the accounts;
Contributing to the correct realisation of tax returns.
Your profile

We are looking for an accountant (bachelor or university degree) with a minimum of 3 years' experience, who wishes to be part of a dynamic international group, with career opportunities.

In addition to the “hard” skills, we are also looking for someone with the following qualities:

Willing to take ownership of the tasks assigned to him or her;
Being curious: taking an interest in the world of Ardo, and in the various processes leading to the accounting records;
A fine team player, but also someone who searches to find the information helping him to exercise his or her role.
