• Coordinate and execute MathWorks events (physical and online) across EMEA as part of the central event team
• Event types include webinars, seminars, tradeshows, or conferences
• Manage the entire event cycle, from pre-event planning to delivery and post-event evaluation
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, execution, and respond to industry trends
• Create detailed event proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, and budgets
• Research and negotiate contracts with venues, digital platforms, suppliers, and contractors
• Collaborate with internal teams and external resources
• Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics such as venue, catering, and travel

• Hands-on execution combined with strategic thinking attitude
• Strong project and time management skills, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English and fluent in German
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team and adjust communication style accordingly
• Analytical mindset to derive insights from marketing and sales data
• Budgeting, negotiation, and vendor management skills
• Proactive and creative problem solver
• Experience in working in a central event service/support model is desired
• Experience in the tech industry would be a plus

• A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or equivalent experience) is required.
