Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

Valeo's LiDAR organisation is embarking on an exciting journey. It makes automotive mobility a reality and ensures an entirely new level of safety on the road. We produce and develop cutting-edge technology on an international stage, shaping the future of the automobile.

At our Bietigheim-Bissingen site, we successfully develop innovative products that reinvent driving comfort and safety. To drive our growth and further development, we are looking for you to join our team.

Your challenges?

• With your broad know-how in various programming languages, you support the lidar function development with the evaluation of algorithm results
• You automate development processes, optimize data preparation for AI-based algorithms and find ways to display and analyze complex algorithms of various ADAS functions
• You have willingness to constantly acquire new technologies coupled with their broad know-how in software development to design creative ideas for the optimization of development processes
• You handle automation and increased efficiency topics
• You make and implement development proposals

Let’s talk about you…

• You are graduated from a Engineering degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, natural or engineering sciences or comparable
• Ideally, you have experience in Python and C++ language
• Ideally, you also have a broad know-how in the area of programming libraries such as OpenCV, Qt.
• You have basic knowledge of neural networks, deep learning and machine learning
• If you have some knowledge of process flows, or build systems, it would be a plus
• You have a fluent level of English
• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking
• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
