The VP, ROW (Rest of World) Sales will be instrumental in driving Ampd Energy's expansion and ensuring the establishment of a cohesive, high-performing multi-country sales organization. This executive role is tasked with leading all Sales and Business Development activities outside of North America. The ideal candidate will possess strategic acumen, operational excellence, and leadership prowess to achieve our growth objectives.
Please note that the working hours for this role will vary greatly based on business needs. They will primarily include APAC mornings and USA evenings. However, may also include UK and GCC working hours for customer meetings and team collaboration.
- Sales Strategist. Formulate and execute effective go to market and sales strategies to exceed revenue targets for all sales outside of North America.
- Lead a Team. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multi-national sales team.
- Set, Monitor and Forecast Performance. Establish sales targets. Regularly review sales performance to ensure current and future targets are met.
- Support Customer Relationships. Build strong relationships with key customers and groups to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Empower Our Partners. Empower our key partners with the product information and training they need to be successful.
- Collaborate. Work closely with marketing, product development, supply chain, and service teams to ensure alignment and support for sales and business initiatives.
- Know the Market. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Advocate for Customers. Act as the voice of the customer (from a Sales POV) by representing their needs and interests in the management team and decision-making processes throughout the business.
- Proven. Demonstrated track record of success as a Head of Sales or similar leadership role in a multi-national sales environment. Preferably in a rapid growth or scale-up environment.
- Analytical. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer feedback and data to drive improvements and strategic decisions.
- Innovative. You have a forward-thinking approach and often identify new ways to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Leader. You are a natural leader. You gain buy-in by leveraging exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust.
- Remote Team. Prior experience managing diverse, global, remote-first, and cross-cultural teams.
- Experience in distributive technology and changing consumer behavior
- Experience going to market via channel partners. Ampd believes in doing more with partners.
