SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR in Berlin bei Automatik VFX

Automatik VFX is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Berlin.

The Systems Administrator supports all technical operations of ATK and TPR by overseeing the administration and optimisation of server and virtual server environments, storage solutions, and network infrastructure. You will lead the deployment of workstations, render nodes, and servers, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Strategise and implement technical infrastructure enhancements across multiple studios to maximise efficiency and performance and diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues on user workstations, providing expert-level support.

Develop, enforce, and continually improve comprehensive security policies to safeguard organisational assets and data and manage LTO backup administration, including detailed documentation and reporting to ensure data integrity and compliance.

You will need a strong background in Linux, Windows and OSX administrations and a strong understanding of heterogeneous network environments.

Previous experience in the VFX, post-production or gaming industry would be preferred.

This role would be for someone who is a team player with a proficient technical background, has a solution-oriented way of thinking, can work independently and has good English communication skills.
