Your Responsibilities:
- Processing and booking of incoming invoices, bank receipts, and cash receipts
- Preparation and execution of payment transactions as well as monitoring payment deadlines and targets
- Account reconciliation and resolution of booking discrepancies
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Execution of payroll in collaboration with the tax office
- Fulfillment of legal reporting requirements, including payroll tax returns and contribution statements
- Transfers to tax authorities and social security institutions
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in close collaboration with the tax office
- Support in establishing of budgets and forecasts
- Support the project team with various administrative tasks
- Organizing and booking business trips (flight and hotel bookings)
- General office duties, including telephone management, mail handling, and procurement of office supplies
Your Profile:
- Completed commercial training or further education in the financial sector (e.g., industrial clerk, office management clerk, financial accountant, certified accountant)
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a medium-sized company
- Solid knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and tax regulations
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Reliability, teamwork, and initiative
- Independent working style and ability to set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
