Mission
In your role as Site Logistics Team Lead, you will oversee our interanl and external logistics processes while leading a dynamic team. Your role will involve building strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure exeptional customer satisfaction and timely order processing. Reporting directly to the Site Supply Chain Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations as well as develop valuable leadership skills. Key Responsibilites:
- Responsibility for the timely confirmation of all customer orders and ensuring that lead times are correctly communicated and documented to customers
- Ensure necessary documentation and compliance with all legal requirements in terms of logistical handling and health and safety
- Monitoring deliveries on a daily basis and liaising with carriers to resolve issues
- Responsible for receiving all customer orders and ensuring that all orders are correctly matched in terms of cost and scope of work
- Responsible for customer communication connected to deliveries
- Coordination of team activity, support and development
Competencies & Requirements
- Technical background with a focus on logistics or corresponding professional experience
- Minimum 5y practical experience in production control and customer contact in industrial environment
- Very good understanding of the supply chain, focus logistic processes
- Excellent team-player, leadership skils
- Strong communication
- Problem solving, analytic thinking and talent for organisation
- Experienced with SAP
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
