In this role, you will join the team at GRID's office located across from one of Berlin's iconic parks, Mauerpark, where you will be heavily involved in office and event management, ensuring the space is in tip-top shape and orchestrating team events.
Meeter and greeter for existing employees, new joiners, and guests
Support the People Team and Senior Management
Order office supplies, drinks, snacks, and equipment - ensuring the office is fully stocked
Create a great office atmosphere - making sure all elements are functioning smoothly
Team contact regarding daily issues should they occur
Help with travel and hotel bookings issues for those visiting the office
Check the mail and scan documents to the correct person
Continuously look for ways to make improvements around the office
Be in contact with the cleaners and landlord when needed
Maintain the office hub document to keep track of equipment, swag, and office keys
Order and distribute team swag
Make sure the office work environment is in an orderly fashion and a productive space for employees
Send and accept deliveries - ensuring they reach the correct person
Assist with German translations
Drive and host social committee meetings/ culture club initiatives
Create and organize monthly team events, happy hours, external partner meetings, etc.
Support in the execution of external business events/ conferences
