Job Description
The Junior Production Manager is responsible for the optimization of membrane production according to product specification with special focus on quality, yield & costs as well as quantity. Membrane production as such consists of chemical and mechanical process steps.
The position will be the link between Production, Engineering & Maintenance as well as Quality Control and Technology. The candidate identifies optimization projects and will implement these. The Junior Production Manager reports to the Production Management
Tasks of the position:
Veolia WTS trainee program (1 year): participation in seminars and trainings
Evaluation of overall plant effectiveness using typical KPI’s like OEE per process step ; tracking analysis optimisation
Support production management in production planning (e.g. campaign size, frequency, etc.) and implementation of improvements
Implementation of process improvements project and developments
project coordination with QC, R&D, Technology and Engineering
preparation of SOP’s and training material and employee training
audit support for e.g. typical ISO certification
Qualifications
complete university degree (Diploma/Master) in the field of production technology, process engineering, engineering sciences or a comparable qualification
good communication skills and a structured, independent and result-oriented way of working
entrepreneurial thinking and team-oriented action
good knowledge of the common MS Office/Google applications
basic knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP
fluent German and English, written and spoken
