Reporting into the Senior Financial Analyst – Color Solutions, the Data Analyst will be based out of our Frankfurt, Germany site and will be responsible for improving, automating and maintaining the existing reporting for the Color Solutions Business Unit to enable for better and quicker business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Continuously improve the existing reporting through Power-Bi by creating new reports and enhancing existing ones.
- Partner closely with IT department to create meaningful datasets, build reports and provide clear visibility of the business drivers.
- Maintain datasets and reports to ensure consistency.
- Drive further automatization of the business unit’s reporting.
- Provide clear visibility into customer performance, product costing and working capital across all sites and major product lines to drive further optimization and efficiency gains.
- Assist with certain aspects of the Color Solutions business unit’s annual budget and monthly forecasting.
- Assist with monthly/quarterly reporting to drive insightful analysis to explain trends and identify both risks and opportunities.
- Ad-hoc financial and business-related analysis to assist in both inorganic and organic growth across the Color Solutions business unit.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business information scientist, economics, finance or similar.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office with expert level skills in Power Bi and Excel.
- Experience using Data Warehouses.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Very good English and German skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with an ERP/financial reporting system.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP (S/4; ECC), Planful or other similar systems.
- Experience in accounting or controlling.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
