YOUR TEAM

You'll be part of the Solution Team 1.2 P in the ADAS&AD domain. Our focus lies on the development of features and technologies which directly impact how the driver interacts with automated and autonomous driving, safety and parking systems.
Our Solution-Team bundles the project management and system engineering roles and responsibilities required to ensure the project success on top level. Our team acts as the key interface between portfolio-management, technical development, finance, purchasing, legal and the Volkswagen Group brands.

You will work together with colleagues in different locations worldwide and in various departments and VW-brands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Be responsible for results, quality and resources as a project leader for your specific cluster in the 1.2 P Project and contribute to the milestones definition in the large ADAS-solution for this 1.2 P Cluster
• Manage all aspects of this cluster in the solution: plan, detail, track, and manage the project & engineering activities for this cluster and synchronize them to the large solution level 1.2 P
• Involve and coordinate all relevant cross-disciplines to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
• Act as the “first line of defence” for the cluster related issues
• Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule, budget and project maturity
• Coordinate your internal & external stakeholders and the cross-functional and cross domain projects/teams
• Do the conception, preparation and moderation of central work and decision workshops to align the projects/teams within your specific 1.2 P Cluster
• Align project management processes for your cluster with the overall processes of CARIAD

WHO YOU ARE

• Degree in the field of engineering, science, software development or a comparable course of studies
• Several years of professional experience in the automotive, aviation or software industries, preferably as Project Manager
• Solid knowledge in System Engineering
• Proactive, supportive, structured and solution-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for the team
• Very good negotiating, communicative, analytical and problem solving skills
• Analytical understanding of complex systems & environments
• Very good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
• Structured and independent work, above-average commitment and flexibility
