Geospatial and Imagery Analyst in Stuttgart bei Booz Allen Hamilton

Key Role:
Use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to develop geospatial intelligence reports and products to solve problems. Validate the information and apply geospatial analysis tradecraft as you work to further refine collection strategies and analytic approaches to existing and emerging problem sets for targeters, warfighters, senior policymakers, internal clients, and the US IC-wide stakeholders. Make time-critical recommendations to the client, often under pressure and in a high ops tempo environment. Apply your knowledge of and expertise in digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, GIS software, geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and commercial imagery, products, processes, and sensors.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with geospatial intelligence and reading and understanding intelligence issues, military affairs, and the use of GIS to develop geospatial intelligence reports and products to solve problems

• Experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, GIS software, geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry

• Experience with using a variety of DoD specified digital data formats, including commercial imagery, panchromatic data, spectral data, and SAR and OPIR data

• Experience with Esri tools, IEC, SocetSet, TerraExplorer or Buildier, Remoteview, ERDAS Imagine, MrSID, VB/VBA, or Oracle to analyze geospatial data

• Experience with using cross-domain solutions

• Ability to deploy overseas and work a shift schedule in support of a 24/7 environment

• Ability to create, update, and manage geospatial information system databases and products

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with the extraction of feature data using NTM, Mapping, Charting, and Geodesy (MC&G) Stereo Imagery, Digital Point Positioning Database (DPPDB), or Orthrectified Mono Equivalent, including Precise Terrain and Ortho Product (PTOP), Mr. Sid Orth Rectified Geotiffs (MSOG), Precise Orth Rectified Image Datasets (POl D), and Controlled Image Base (CIB)

• Knowledge of an object-oriented programming or scripting language, including VB or VBA and appropriate software used to analyze geospatial data, or commercial imagery, products, processes, and sensors, including Oracle

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,000.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
