Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The Accounting Assistant will support various accounting functions and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Prepare and submit tax forms, including sales tax and payroll tax returns.
• Respond to inquiries regarding accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar role.
• Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
