The Team:
The Mattel Amazon team operates as a separate regional team within Europe, set up in a matrix structure with dedicated Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and HR functions, located across the region in UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Netherlands. In addition to managing Amazon for the region, the team also drives the strategy of marketplaces and acts as a center of excellence for all things eCom related.
In line with Amazon’s expansion, we’ve also evolved from managing 5 European markets to 9, with Netherlands, Sweden, Poland and Belgium launching over the last 3 years. We have also introduced a new Marketing team with regional focus on Category Management and Media. This has further supported how we can partner closely with Amazon to leverage our joint strategy and solidify our strong pan-European business relationship.

Job Description
What Your Impact Will Be:
You will be a core contributor in planning, managing, and executing the business for Mattel's leading eRetail customer in Europe.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Regional Pillars & Amazon stakeholders to ensure listings, continuous availability and activation of the Mattel range on the site
- Drive Joint Business Planning initiatives
- Represent the Amazon Germany team internally on assigned projects & in close collaboration with the local market & brand managers
- Together with the rest of the team, act as a centre of competence and expertise for e-retail towards the rest of the organization
1. Product Forecasting and Replenishment
- Monthly quantity forecasting for an extensive portfolio of brands and products that influences the production
- Near-term turnover forecasting weekly for submission to management
- Participate in supply chain projects that will develop efficiencies for Mattel and its eRetail customers and deliver improved customer service
2. Strategy
- Core contributor in the ongoing evolution and implementation of the Go to Market strategy together with cross-functional teams (marketing, digital, supply chain, IT)
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of retailers' and toy market dynamics
- Identify shopper and e-commerce trends for business growth and implement initiatives and action plans
- Collaborate with Brand and Shopper Marketing and country sales teams to evolve Mattel's eRetail presence and activation into being increasingly more consumer-centric and brand-led
3. Trade Marketing & Activity Planning
- Support Regional Customer Range Planning/Selection with input from brand activation and the Amazon country key account teams
- Plan and execute customer marketing activities and promotions in collaboration with the Shopper Marketing and Brand Activation teams
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
- In collaboration with the analytics teams, monitor KPIs to deliver on objectives and accelerate business growth
- Monitor the online analytics tools and take corrective action steps when the online implementation KPIs fail to adhere with the target (e.g. the number of reviews, rich digital content, frequent out-of-stocks etc.)
5. Financial
- Sales and spending forecasting
- Support the KAM in managing and tracking the allocated budget & maintain the respective audit trails
- Deliver on revenue and profit targets
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1-2 years of Sales or Marketing experience with a Key Account Management and E-commerce understanding, preferably with focus on E-Commerce & Digital Marketing.
- University degree in related fields (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma)
- Understanding of online/digital metrics
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
- Attention to detail and process affinity
- Strong follow-up and prioritization skills
