PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Reporting to the Head of Global Campaign Projects & Events, the Manager of Global Campaign Projects & Events will play a critical role in supporting the development and global execution of cross-functional FMC events, global observances and disease awareness campaigns. In this, they will collaborate with fellow colleagues across CoE and BP functions to manage the delivery of diverse campaign communication requirements. To accomplish this, they will coordinate all parties in accordance with campaign scope and timelines, and they will monitor the team’s adherence to the strategic objectives of the campaign. As required for global events and campaigns, they will also manage Regional & local enablement ensuring that the content is customized and packages for regional & local audiences and executed.
To succeed in this role, the Manager of Global Campaign Projects & Events will need to bring a strong partnership mindset as they build collaborative relationships across corporate and business partner segments and execute on concurrent campaign objectives. Additionally, they will need to bring an acute eye toward process efficiency, as the organization continues to streamline processes and prioritize campaigns for strategic impact.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and executes comprehensive communication campaigns of cross-functional FMC events, observances and global disease awareness campaigns.
- Manages global Townhalls, ensuring content development and alignment, organization and execution.
- Develops comprehensive management plans in support of project and event portfolio that aligns project & event requirements & team resources.
- Guides team meetings to ensure ongoing alignment to campaign priorities.
- Contributes to ways of working and in-take processes to execute on high frequency communication requests from project & event stakeholders.
- Informs and aligns with relevant stakeholders globally, regionally and locally to ensure proper awareness, alignment and execution.
- Oversees development and maintenance of event protocols and standards to drive individual event execution.
- Coordinates with Regional Enablement colleagues to ensure regional needs are proactively addressed within global campaigns.
- Ensures ongoing strategic adherence to campaign objectives, and steers team refocus when necessary.
- Liaise with internal and external providers as required for individual events.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Min. 4 years related experience in corporate communications, public relations or global events management
- Fluency in English written and spoken, additional languages are a plus
- Excellent collaboration, good project management and leadership skills with a can-do attitude
- Good digital channel knowledge
- Proven track record of successful global event management & campaign development
- Excellent written, presentation and communication skills are required
- Able to manage and work within a matrix organization
- Strong organizational, project management and process analysis skills are essential
- Must be able to lead virtual international project teams across broad-based projects
- Cultural sensitivity
- Experience leading a team.
