For our Product Engineering department, at our location in Pasewalk we are looking for a:

PU/EVA Product Engineer (f/m/d)

YOUR SHOES TO FILL:

• The PU/EVA Product Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper engineering and manufacturability of all our PU/EVA in-house products.
• You will collaborate with the Product Development Team and other relevant parties to brainstorm ideas for upcoming PU/EVA projects, including designs, materials, molds and other aspects related to PU/EVA products.
• You are responsible for signing off technical drawings prior to mold opening together with the Product Development, Commercialization, Quality Management and Production teams.
• Furthermore, you actively monitor and follow all developments and engineering processes, especially in terms of mold making and sampling. In order to ensure that molds are constructed to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, you maintain strong contact with mold makers.
• You continuously look out for any new PU/EVA materials which can improve the existing products as well as new molding technology (including machinery).
• In case further technical advice is needed, you support the PU/EVA purchasing team in decisions.
• Last but not least, you ensure that products are ready to be manufactured when handed over to commercialization/production.

YOUR WALK OF LIFE:

• Minimum 5 years of working with PU/EVA based footwear, injection and or casting.
• In depth understanding of overall shoemaking processes.
• Strong technical knowledge in PU/EVA products for both injections and casting/pouring as well as knowledge about molds, including technical drawing reading.
• English business fluent; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to other production sites and to our team in Köln.
