Within B. Braun Melsungen AG, the "Strategic Engineering Sterilization" team at the B.Braun Technology Center of the Center of Excellence Infusion & Pain Therapy is looking for two Process Engineers (f/m/d) Sterilization to start as soon as possible. The team bundles the knowledge of technology, engineering and process around the sterilization of medical disposables. The product portfolio in question covers a wide range of disposable syringes, infusion devices, blood tubes, catheters and customer-specific sets.
The tasks of the "Strategic Engineering Sterilization" team include the technical support of specially planned and implemented sterilization systems. The range of tasks also includes technical discussions with the sterilization experts at global sites, external suppliers, notified bodies and authorities. The team sees itself as a service provider for the sites with a vision for a holistic and future-oriented technology strategy.
In the future, the team will focus, among other things, on expanding sterilization using radiation technology and implementing its own radiation sterilization systems.
- You will be involved in sterilization projects from the technical design of new systems through to implementation at one of our sites abroad.
- You will provide technical and specialist support to our sites with questions and problems in close coordination with internal and external suppliers.
- You will manage sub-projects such as feasibility studies as well as development and optimization projects with a focus on technology and processes.
- You will also advise our internal stakeholders on issues relating to the sterilization of single-use medical devices (production sites, product development, global quality management, supply chain management and purchasing).
- You have successfully completed a bachelor degree in engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biotechnology or a similar course of study.
- You already have some experience in international projects
- You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English. Further language skills are an advantage.
- Ideally, you have initial professional experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry as well as knowledge in the fields of radiation sterilization and microbiology.
- You have strong analytical skills.
- You work in a structured, solution-oriented and customer-focused manner.
