Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting in local currency: Trial balance, balance sheet and income statement
- Assist with implementation of a new accounting system. System based on ERP selection decision
- Analytical review of financials
- Managing AR processing, cash collections and reporting any aging issues
- Managing AP processing for vendor invoicing and payment
- Analyze cost of goods for pilot expenditures are timely reported and properly accrued
- Manage margins and analyze any significant variances
- Communicate weekly (or as needed) with North America accounting team
- Communication and reporting to the tax accountant
- Other book-keeping tasks as needed
- Digitize / automate accounting processes as needed
Qualifications:
- System implementation
- Basic understanding of accounting systems such as Dativ, Quickbooks. In general an ERP systems experience / knowledge
- At least 3+ years of previous experience as an in-house accountant
- Experience with managing audit requirements
- Meeting deadlines such as Reporting financials timely to corporate office
- Degree in accountancy / fluency in IFRS and familiarity with US GAAP
- Excellent office product knowledge such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
