You support our team as
- Carrying out measurements to document surface characteristics and material properties of mechanical seal components
- Preparing samples for material analysis.
- Clarification of causes of damage through material tests and component testing, initiation of remedial measures in consultation with the supervisor.
- Carrying out serial measurements for material development and quality assurance.
- Planning, supervision and execution of tests as well as evaluation, documentation and presentation of the results internally and externally through reports, publications and presentations.
- Planning, designing and commissioning new measuring procedures and test stands.
- Defining the necessary testing and measuring equipment and carrying out experimental tests in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Review and compliance with current safety standards.
- Maintenance and servicing of assigned measuring equipment.
- Induction of new employees.
- Degree from a university of applied sciences or technical university in the fields of materials science, chemistry, mechanical engineering/process engineering. If necessary, training as a technician with sufficient knowledge.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of MS Office
