About the job:
The Siemens Cyber Defense team is looking for a Chief Cybersecurity Architect to lead our global Cyber Defense Innovation and Platform department. In this role, you will be a senior technologist focused on our global threat detection, incident response as well as cyber threat intelligence functions to continuously drive and mature the protection of our Siemens businesses. You will be required to have a comprehensive understanding of the cyber threat landscape, adversary TTPs and state of the art defense practices driving effective and efficient cyber risk mitigation initiatives.
What will be your challenge?
- As Architect Lead, you will be responsible for our Cyber Defense technical strategy and will lead delivery of that strategy.As such, you will own solution definition, team enablement, business engagement and influence, and public advocacy.
- You will engage with Siemens cybersecurity architecture teams and lead enterprise architects to pursue both near and long-term risk mitigation initiatives, programs, and projects.
- You will provide the experience and technical expertise to build security infrastructure from scratch or update existing systems in response to ongoing changes in the security landscape, including new risks and adherence to applicable regulations.
- You will review current system security measures and recommend enhancements, ensuring continuous monitoring of Siemens´ security architecture.
- It is expected that Siemens businesses and partners will rely on you as a strategic technical advisor, and you will operate considering the current and future technology success.
What you will bring:
- University Degree in information technology or similar
- 8+ years of experience in IT / Cyber Engineering practice especially with Security monitoring, Incident response, Threat intelligence, Application Security, Identity and Access Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, Vulnerability Handling and Digital forensics.
- 2+ years of experience as Cybersecurity Architect.
- Solid knowledge of emerging technologies to design and implement security solutions; monitoring and improving those solutions while working with cybersecurity and business stakeholders.
- Consulting and engineering in the design and development of security best practices; implementation of security measures to meet business goals, customer needs and regulatory requirements.
- Security considerations of cloud computing, including data breaches, hacking, account hijacking, malicious insiders, third parties, authentication, APTs, data loss and DoS attacks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to meet with and present to C-level executives.
- Solid knowledge and experience with IT and OT environments as well as technology as it applies to vertical customers and partners.
- Experience with and understanding of key concepts and players in the realms of threat-informed defense, edge computing, AI/ML, application architectures, DevSecOps, APIs, agile development, and cloud-native development
