Corporate Centre Audit and Business Development & Strategy Coordinator in Köln bei RTL Group GmbH

Your tasks

• You will proactively support the Internal Audit and Business Development & Strategy teams and their leaders in the implementation of strategic and operational tasks by taking over administrative and organizational activities.
• You plan and organize for both teams the recurrent (yearly, quarterly) and ad-hoc team specific meetings and external calls/meetings.
• Coordinate the audit planning process with the RTL Group business units.
• Prepare the audit resources plan and keep up to date the year’s audit overview.
• Attend and ensure minutes and executive summaries of various Audit and Business Development & Strategy meetings.
• Support the audit reports process by:
  • sending out the final audit reports to local management.
  • submitting the recommendations and management answers into the audit tool.
  • managing the report follow up process with the local entities.
• You support the head of Internal Audit and Business Development & Strategy team leaders in the preparation of various presentations (ie. for Audit Committee meetings, Business Development & Strategy Synergies Committees, SyCo).
• You coordinate and organize the on-site functional team meetings (SyCo meetings, audit meetings).
• In addition, for the head of Audit and the Business Development & Strategy team leaders:
  • You take over the daily management of their work schedules, organise and prioritize important meetings.
  • You are responsible for the travel management by managing travel bookings and handling of the invoices and expense reports.
  • Support the team with travel bookings and claims as required.

Your profile

• You have already worked in a similar assistant position, at least 3 to 5 years.
• You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree or a similarly qualified commercial apprenticeship.
• You have a talent for organization and flexibility to address changing priorities during your daily business.
• You are level-headed, a self-starter and you effectively handle multiple and changing priorities simultaneously without losing sight of details.
• You are comfortable working independently, following self-driven lines of enquiry with a strong focus on results.
• You are a talented communicator, curious to learn, used to dealing with a wide variety of people and at ease working in a multicultural environment.
• You understand the importance of maintaining discretion and confidentiality regarding the topics and information managed by your role.
• Office 365 (especially Outlook) is easy for you to handle.
• You are fluent in English (CEFR level C2) and German.
• You are service and solution-oriented with a positive and warm personality, characterized by your courteous and helpful nature.
