The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a(n) Specialist Product Engineering for Solventum Advanced Woundcare products you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Managing projects for commercialized Solventum Advance Woundcare products made at various locations.
- Acting as the primary product liaison between the MSD laboratory, manufacturing plants, suppliers and other concerned functions.
- Assuring the commercialized product design intent and product integrity as materials, processes, methods, and regulations evolve
- Supporting product programs that positively impact service, quality and product cost. Lead or support transfer of new product designs to manufacturing.
- Driving continuous/quality improvement and PPU projects.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Master´s Degree or higher in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline (Chemistry, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Chemical/Medical/Mechanical Engineering etc.)
- Relevant work experience in the development or manufacturing of medical devices or other regulated products
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Experience in leading product development or change management projects in an international and highly cross-functional environment.
- Experience in the processing and characterization of materials like films, nonwovens, adhesives.
- Full working English language proficiency

- Statistical process control & industrial experimentation knowledge and experience.
- Sound quality & regulatory mind set.
- Strong organization, communication and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Work location: Primarily Neuss/Düsseldorf, eligible for hybrid model (job duties allow for some remote work but require travel to supplier/manufacturer locations)
Travel: May include up to 15%, primarily within Europe
