Mechanical Engineering Working Student in München bei OroraTech

We are looking for talented engineers to support us with designing and testing our newly developed satellite platform. You will join a very motivated and highly enthusiastic team of experts in mechanical, optics, electronics, spacecraft, and software engineering.

As a Working Student (min. 16-20h/week) in the field of Mechanical Engineering, you will:

• Support the design of the mechanical structure of the satellite.
• Support the design and development of the satellite's deployable mechanisms.
• Built mechanical setups for the on-ground testing.
• Plan and perform the satellite's and its subsystem's on-ground test campaigns (functional and vibration).
• Prototype mechanical designs using our laboratories.

• Experience in the design and development of mechanical structures and mechanisms.
• Experience in CAD software.
• Knowledge about space tests and qualification standards.
• Highly organized and structured way of working.
• Proactive attitude to problem-solving.
• Experience in rapid prototyping technologies is a plus.
