Become a part of our international Sustainability team in Bremen, Germany. For the next possible date we are looking for you as Junior Sustainability Manager (m/f/d).
30 hours with the prospect of full-time employment
Key responsibilities:
- Support communication and content creation on sustainability topics and initiatives, both internally and externally
- Drive sustainability topics forward in close coordination with cross-functional teams
- Responsible for carrying out projects on strategic and operative level in coordination with the Head of Global Sustainability
- Support in responding to required internal information or client requirements
- Responsible for the preparation, implementation and follow-up of meetings, workshops, trainings and other internal events
- Assist in the development and implementation of a sustainability reporting system in alignment with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements
- Coordinate and maintain the reporting process, consolidate data from various sources and organize its preparation for CSRD
- Support with advancing our sustainability strategy based on identified gaps
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline to the role (e.g. economics, business administration, sustainability, or related field)
- Experience in a similar or relevant role within the logistics industry and/or affinity with sustainability related topics
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Structured way of working and enjoy working both independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks is desirable
- Familiarity with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a plus
