As global market leader for parking and driver assistance based in Bietigheim-Bissingen with Customer Offices in Garching and Braunschweig, our innovative mindset coupled with expertise in sensor fusion, environmental perception and artificial intelligence, enables to offer a unique technological portfolio for ranging, viewing sensors and computer vision as well as of scalable architectures for functions such as driver assistance, active safety and automated driving.

Application Development and test of AVP services (AVP = (Autonomous Valet Parking) on the different OEM test sites for the Off-board of the AVP services : Cloud services, including teleassistance and optional infrastructure perceptions systems

These challenges await you

• Design and implementation of car control services based on the aggregation/fusion of infrastructure + car sensor data and map data.

• Design for scalability and high availability using modern SW technologies based on an Architecture for Backend-Systems suitable for automotive- and Low-Latency-Applications

• On site coordination of Software-Development with other partners from embedded car SW, back end applications and edge computer applications

• Reporting of bugs and implementation of SW updates/corrections

• Validation and iterative debugging. Devops for new features and improvements

You inspire us with that:

• Degree in Computer Science or similar

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Software-Development (newcomers if motivation and certain main skill sets are there)

• Experienced in Software-Development with Linux and especially with ROS2

• Excelled skills in the areas control and monitoring systems, sensor perception, databases, connectivity (LTE -5G), scalability

• Active Communication and Team Spirit

• Self driven way of working, problem solving mentality

• (Experiences in J2EE, Web-Services, REST, Streams, Java)

• Skills in development (agile) methods and processes

• Very good English language skills
