The Transformation Innovation Center (TIC) at the Fraunhofer-Informationszentrum für Raum und Bau (IRB), one of 76 independent institutes of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, focuses on facilitating and exploring transformation processes in organizations, companies, cities and communities. Our team combines expertise in transdisciplinary research, knowledge transfer, learning & development, citizen and open science in light of demographic, digital, socio-economic and socio-ecological challenges.
For two current subprojects in the field of "Innovation-promoting Learning Culture" and "Innovative Learning Formats," we are looking for student research assistants (m/f/d) for 10-15 hours per week, for a minimum of 6 months.
What you will do
- Involvement in the sub-project "Learning culture that promotes innovation": Participation in e.g., the investigation of barriers to innovation and the establishment of a learning lab
OR
- Involvement in the sub-project "Innovative teaching/learning formats": Participation in e.g., the digital development of a toolbox and the conception of innovative teaching/learning settings
- Support in the publication process of scientific and practice-oriented manuscripts (e.g. formatting, reference check) and research activities (e.g. literature analysis, data collection/evaluation, and presentation of results)
- Assisting in the design, preparation, and implementation of workshops and events
- Support in administrative tasks and public relation
What you bring to the table
- You are enrolled at a German university, ideally in a master’s program in e.g., business (education), psychology, economics, sociology, information systems, or a related major
- You ideally have experience and knowledge in empirical research and are proficient in using statistical programs or are willing to familiarize yourself with such knowledge
- You have a very good command of English (written and spoken)
- You are proficient in the use of common office applications
- You have excellent teamwork and communication skills
- You are open-minded, have the ability to think critically, and have the ambition to continuously learn and grow
- You are interested in a longer-term collaboration

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
