As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role, based within the Amorana branch, will be crucial in driving high-level performance across the Lovehoney Group. In close partnership with the Manager Trading & Merchandising, your focus will be on optimizing purchasing processes and strengthening supplier relationships, contributing to the success of both Amorana and the wider Lovehoney Group.
- Manage category POs (placing, monitoring, and updating) for both weekly and seasonal needs, ensuring accuracy in units, pricing, and timely deliveries
- Analyse category performance with your line manager to identify stock level challenges, and communicate insights on potential stock issues or purchasing inefficiencies to relevant teams
- Develop sourcing strategies to improve margins, including negotiations on MOQs, pricing, and considering bulk buying when appropriate
- Foster and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring smooth acceptance and delivery of all POs, and addressing any discrepancies or issues in collaboration with internal departments
- Participate in projects and tasks with the Manager Trading & Merchandising, contributing to the development of purchasing strategies and operational efficiencies
- Strong foundation in commercial training with professional experience in operational purchasing, demonstrating both independence and responsibility in managing projects and tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in German and English, coupled with a confident and assertive personality
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach, showing a high level of ambition and passion for procurement and supply chain management
