Product/Feature Owner - Radio (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• End-to-End Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership and lead the development and delivery of the radio solution for the global markets outside of China, focusing on FM/DAB and HD Radio
• Series Development & Maintenance: Series development and maintenance for vehicles; roll out for global markets including GCC, US/Canada, Australia/New Zealand, and Japan; ensure the integration of the radio solution as part of the overall infotainment
• Requirements/Change Management & Product Development: Define technical requirements; handshake technical requirements with relevant stakeholders (e.g. UX/UI, dev team, suppliers); prepare change request documentation and present for approval in change management meetings; regular synchronization meetings with the UX/UI team to define and align changes and improvements impacting the UX/UI
• Management of Partners and Suppliers: Manage and steer multiple internal and external partners and suppliers; ensure delivery of changes in time, quality, and budget
• Development & Delivery of HD Radio for the US/Canada Market: Manage development activities between external suppliers and internal teams; clarify and refine technical requirements as needed; ensure successful and on-time certification with external partners.
• Issue Management: Monitor, analyse, confirm severity and priority for issues, and drive their resolution internally and with suppliers; update issue tickets (Jira, LPIS); feedback/report in issue review meetings and propose must-fix items for each upcoming release; conduct in-depth technical root cause investigations including log analysis
• Test and Validation Activities: Define test and validation activities and lead the creation of test methods and standards; conduct expert assessment during test and sign-off drives; ensure compliance with market-specific requirements and regulations (e.g. Europe, North America); provide status reports to management and program teams

Your profile:

• Degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, information technology, or a related course of studies
• 5-10 years of working experience in developing infotainment and/or radio solutions, preferably at an automotive OEM or Tier 1
• Expertise in media, radio/tuner (FM, DAB, HD Radio, SiriusXM, Hybrid Radio) including FM RDS/RBDS, DAB/FM Service Following, RF design, reception & antennas; strong understanding of radio validation methods and assessment criteria; experience in the development of HD Radio and SiriusXM is desirable; Android Automotive experience would be beneficial
• Awareness of market-specific requirements for a global radio solution (e.g. Europe, North America, Japan, South Korea, Asia Pacific)
• Experience working with and managing external supplier(s); previous exposure to a complete development lifecycle from concept to series production for a radio/infotainment solution or other infotainment product or sub-domain
• Fluent in English
• Flexible regarding travel to visit suppliers/partners, other facilities, or to attend drive tests globally; driving license
