Overview:
i3 is seeking Site Support Facilitator team members to support global Training Facilities. Facilities are located on Army installations and Reserves sites worldwide. Units use facilities to conduct training that improves individual and unit readiness. Using high-speed internet access, computer-based training and Video Tele-Training (VTT) equipment, soldiers and civilians can train when it fits their professional needs and personal schedules.
i3 currently has positions available in:
Kaiserslautern/ Baumholder, Germany
Camp Humphrey's, South Korea
Chievres AB (Mons), BE
This is not a Permanent Change of Station funded position; applicant must be covered under existing Status of Forces Agreement.
Responsibilities:
- Support both synchronous and asynchronous distance learning initiatives, VTT, and interactive learning environments.
- Familiar with the operations of training facility.
- Ensure assigned classroom workstations, seating, and network connectivity are available and operational.
- Ensure the facility is available for all scheduled/non-scheduled training evolutions.
- Ensure education/training equipment is installed and that software and networks operate.
- Ensure workstations are available for scheduled learners and loaded with appropriate courseware.
- Coordinate the installation of equipment and software upgrades, reporting system, software, or equipment failures to the Help Desk.
- Responding to directions from the help desk within a designated timeframe, Spearheading an increase of overall use of the capability for training through marketing of distance learning system capabilities, Developing and cultivating relationships with military organizational elements to promote the capabilities and use of the capabilities.
- Maintaining and operating with general knowledge of software applications, operating IT equipment experience, workstation set-up, networked systems.
- Customer service including resolving issues related to desktop IT resources.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent desired.
- Previous relevant experience preferred.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Must be covered under existing Status of Forces Agreement.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
