About the role
We are expanding our Outside Sales team and we’d love for you to be a part of it as Sales Representative or how we call it at G Adventures: Global Purpose Specialist (GPS) in Southern Germany & Austria.
Our GPS-Team helps our travel trade partners to discover more passion, purpose, and happiness.
What you’ll be doing:

Develop and maintain relationships and accounts with travel agencies, tour operators and online travel platforms in Southern Germany & Austria.

Create a business plan to achieve monthly and quarterly targets including growing existing accounts and prospecting new opportunities

Provide training on all of G Adventures’ Product

Provide exceptional customer service in every situation

Work with both speed and efficiency while consistently displaying compassion and care in every interaction

Differentiate your service to provide a uniquely G Adventures experience for our travel trade partners.
How your mission is achieved:

Connect with our travel trade partners in person, over the phone, via Zoom and email

Attend partner conferences and training events
-
Support direct marketing initiatives and consumer shows

Ask the right questions to ascertain the needs of each unique travel trade partner

Recommend and sell the right trip for the partners traveller based on their needs

Hold regular training sessions to ensure your travel trade partners are up to date with G Adventures product

Present G Adventures product to groups of agents and/or clients from 4 to 100+

Organise and stick to a strategic call plan, ensuring travel trade partners are visited as frequently as they require

Ensure accuracy in recording all sales visits in Salesforce

Maintain superior knowledge of all G Adventures product and changes

Be an integral part of G Adventures amazing company culture and live by the G Adventures Core values.

Be the first point of contact for any of your trade partners Sales & Marketing inquiries

Creating succinct marketing plans with partners to drive enquires and conversion

Ensuring prominence of G Adventures product on our travel trade partners social, website and digital platforms
What you'll need
-
On the road travel sales experience essential
-
A love of sales and travel
-
Demonstrated strategic business planning, analysing, and reporting skills

Strong negotiation skills

Advanced skills in interpersonal relationship management

Effective communication skills in german and english, both verbal and written
-
Ability to work irregular hours, if required (occasionally early starts to train travel trade partners before they open or evenings, weekends in case of conferences and events)

Valid driver license
-
Availability to stay overnight if required (accommodation cost would be covered by G Adventures)

Domestic and International travel are involved with this role
