As Junior Manager Project Scouting & Development you will be a valued member of TUI Hotels & Resorts Portfolio Management team, contributing to the growth of the portfolio of more than 420 hotels and resorts globally. You will be supporting the search for new hotel opportunities globally, reviewing proposals and analysing opportunities in destinations with untapped potential. You will work closely with senior managers and other stakeholders to evaluate new hotel projects. The nature of the work is characterized by internationalism, diversity, agility and complexity.

ABOUT THE JOB
- Support the scouting team in projects and profitability assessments, evaluating feasibility, location, zoning regulations, and market demand
- Maintain an updated database, processing and keeping records of the leads through business intelligence tools
- Assist in the preparation of management presentations and follow-up of meetings and events
- Conduct ongoing analyses of the industry, competitors, and destinations (macro and micro analyses) with focus on technical regulations
- Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the hotels and resorts market
- Evaluate key performance indicators and benchmarks on an ongoing basis
- Team-up with a wide range of stakeholders within TUI Group to ensure the consecution of the objectives
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Geography, Tourism or similar related areas
- Passion for analysis and the leisure hotel market
- Experience in project management/development roles with exposure to operations or sales in the tourism industry is a plus
- Strong MS Excel and advanced MS PowerPoint skills required
- First experience with database software as a plus (e.g. Tableau).
- Effective and reliable team player with strong work ethics and the ability to work in agile teams
- Collaborative team player in an international environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- German, English fluent and other language skills would be solid advantage
