About the role

As the Transportation Manager (all genders) at buycycle you will be responsible to ensure the quality, speed and cost of the delivery of our products to our customers all across Europe.

Your responsibilities

• You enhance customer happiness by consistently enhancing the quality of delivery services.
• You handle of worldwide bike transports, from pickup to delivery and offering a seamless shipping experience.
• You manage the relationships with our external logistics service providers on day to day basis.
• You analyse transportation performance, recognizing and facilitating enhancements in the process.
• You supervise carrier delivery timelines, promptly identifying and addressing issues, and escalating them to relevant stakeholders.
• You spearhead improvement initiatives aligned with our roadmap, thereby innovating and propelling our Transportation business forward.

About you

• You have an academic degree in business, logistics, engineering or any related field.
• You already have some work experience in Transportation, Operations, or Supply Chain and an intrinsic interest in logistical processes.
• You have excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel skills, knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
• You have a structured way of working, drive, passion for impact and pragmatism.
• You have a team and people oriented approach of working and communication.
• You are fluency in English, German is considered as a plus.
