You will report to the GSSO Germany PS Leader, Kim Finck and will join a team of highly skilled Security Sales professionals working with Pre-Sales and Technology specialists.
What You'll Do
As a Cybersecurity Sales Specialist within Cisco's Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) you will drive the Security Business in Germany. In this key role, you will manage and drive sales for customers in the public sector, esp. the states & communities in Germany North-West.
In this job, you will:
- Hunt new sales opportunities within existing & new Cisco customers.
- Qualify opportunities with MEDDPICC and prioritize activities by working with the account teams or by yourself.
- Develop a sales plan for your customer patch & execute upon it.
- Control the sales process and drive leads to closure - generate new revenues.
- Drive sales campaigns into target prospect base, working with Cisco field sales and Partner sales teams.
- Coordinate with the account teams and other appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning Proposals & RFI/RFP Responses.
- Develop a deep understanding of product capabilities and value propositions for your customers.
- Present to customers and prospects in a highly effective manner.
- Forecast product bookings accurately & update sales activity to management.
- Negotiate sales transactions & terms of business winning results by providing a solid basis for ongoing relationships.
- Demonstrate to and nurture the Cisco partner base, work with the Partner sales teams to win new business deals.
- Attend industry forums, tradeshows and events as required.
Who you are
- You are passionate about selling and security.
- You are able to demonstrate ability to sell in a consultative style, show understanding of customer requirements, discuss solutions, and sell Cisco's security value proposition.
- You are highly skilled and effective in recognising and generating opportunities, technical presentations and consulting as well as closing deals.
- Experience in selling security solutions (Content security / Email security, Web security, DLP, VPN, IPS/IDS, NextGen Firewalls, MfA & XDR/SOAR - driving an on-prem, hybrid and cloud architecture approach)
- You have a good understanding of the security market space and the respective positioning of the different players.
- Established network of contacts and successful track record in sales.
- Fluency in English and German is a requirement.
