Major accountabilities:
Build and maintain a backlog of initiatives, including the assessment of these initiatives by liaising with business process owners and a selected network of associates (e.g., FF, Medical, Assistants)
Lead and deliver selected simplification projects within and across the relevant departments (e.g., CCO, BE&E, Medical, P&O, Finance) and manage internal and external delivery teams
Prepare decisions and updates, and present them to relevant boards within the scope of the simplification initiatives (e.g., IM-LT, SLT, TA Board, Ops Board)
Serve as local business process excellence (BPE) champion, managing the relationship between the global team and local opportunities
Stay current with recent technological trends and actively bring innovation to the process owners (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Platform, Generative AI)
Communication & change management
Ensure regular communication of successes and challenges via country-wide and other appropriate channels (e.g., MuvOn, Viva Engage)
Maintain regular contact with senior leadership (e.g., CFO, Head BE&E) to keep them informed on progress and incorporate their inputs into simplification initiatives
Maintain regular contact with above-country and operations stakeholders
Inspire the organization to be passionate, creative, and innovative in our approach to SIMPLIFICATION and be the cultural change agents striving for excellence
Essential requirements:
University degree in business, economics or comparable, with a focus on management and project realization, or Life Sciences
English: fluent written and spoken
Solid experience in the pharma industry in Marketing, Medical or Operations
Strong ability to navigate a matrix organisation, to influence and to deliver impact, to build collaborative partnerships and x-functional teams
Confident appearance towards internal and external business partners
Portfolio of projects, where Agile and other project management methodologies have been used, is required
Track record of applying Lean, Six Sigma or comparable process improvement methodologies is advantageous
Excellence in driving innovative approaches to challenges in a fast-paced, changing global environment is required
