Xata is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Events Coordinator to join our operations team. You will help us plan amazing offsites around Europe, coordinate our conference sponsorships, manage all travel and logistics for our team, and keep our team engaged with fun activities!
Xata is a female-founded, fully remote Series A tech startup that has raised $35 million to date. We’re on a mission to radically simplify how developers work with data through our Postgres database platform. Our team is distributed across Europe and the East Coast of the U.S., but this position will be remote from Berlin. You'll join our dynamic operations team, collaborating closely with Founder & CEO Monica Sarbu and our marketing team to bring Xata events to life and help make Xata an exceptional place to work. - Plan and execute epic company offsites– As a fully remote team, we gather twice a year for Xata offsites across Europe. You’ll be in charge of everything from scouting unique locations to managing logistics and ensuring each event is a memorable experience. We’ve explored Spain, Greece, Italy, and Portugal, and next up is Iceland in March 2025!
- Coordinate sponsorships of major conferences – Xata loves to show up in style! You’ll make sure our presence at industry events is top-tier, from the coordination of sponsorship details to managing team travel you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Manage travel and logistics for our team – whether it’s booking flights, hotels, or conference tickets, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring smooth travel experiences for our team.
- Oversee company swag – from T-shirts to hats, you'll manage and distribute the coolest company swag that our team and customers loves to rock.
- Boost employee engagement by organizing fun events – from virtual happy hours to team-building activities, you’ll help keep our team connected and having a great time.
- An organizational wizard – you love making to-do lists, tackling logistics, and staying on top of all the little details.
- A people person – you enjoy working with people and have great communication skills (both written and verbal).
