Failure Analysis Engineer in Erfurt bei Melexis Microelectronic Systems

As a Failure Analysis Engineer (m/f/d) at Melexis, you will discover different types of failures in the Melexis products and/or the application of customers balancing time, qualitative outcome and cost as input to define the right corrective actions.

More specifically, you will

• Conduct hands-on laboratory work using state of the art non-destructive and/or destructive tools/methods for electrical test, defect localization and characterization (OBIRCH, EMMI, DALS, SEM, FIB, EDX, …)

• Ensure high quality and timely analysis of Failure Analysis requests including detailed reporting of failure analysis results

• Ensure that Failure Analysis equipment or Failure Analysis Hardware and Software are running smoothly (Tool ownership)

• Ensure efficient communication with several stakeholders internally

• Train and coach peers in the area of your expertise

• Drive continuous improvement by developing, adapting and implementing flows and appropriate methods and equipment

Your profile

• Masters degree (MSc) in Engineering (Micro - Electronics, Electronics, Physics etc.) or equal through experience

• Knowledge on electro-technics, physics, chemistry and and/or material science

• Preferably experience in test of electronic devices, failure analysis or chip design

• Preferably experience in international working environment

• Basic Project Management familarity

• Fluency in English and German
