The Technical services Team works around the clock on utilities and infrastructure systems to maximize performance and availability. Through a combination of preventative and corrective maintenance they ensure these systems operate as intended, and when they don't, they're returned to service as soon as possible.

This role is specifically tailored to the Gigafactory Berlin industrial water management division, previous experience with industrial chemistry is required. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of chemical and physical water treatment processes.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities:

Technical management of chemicals used in the waste treatment process and reverse osmosis
Responsible for monitoring and coordinating chemical deliveries and laboratory activities
Assist and lead in troubleshooting of water analysis requests
Prepare hazard and risk analyses for chemicals
Integrate and standardize best safety practices for chemicals and laboratory .
Cost tracking, consumption forecast creation, tendering processes and budget control for chemicals and laboratory consumables
Coordinate with Environmental team for any compliance issues / improvements and other engineering disciplines as well as with external suppliers

What You’ll Bring

Requirements

Background in working chemical or process engineer in an industrial wastewater facility.
More than 2 years of experience
Experience in management of chemicals and Waterchemistry Laboratories
Ability to interface with multiple engineering disciplines.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
Proficient in German and English is mandatory. Further Languages are of advantage.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Experienced with Microsoft packages (e.g., Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint and MS Project).
