The Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation Leader is a key member of the Extended Management Team of the School and reports directly to the secondary school principal. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the school delivers high-quality international learning experiences through the development of exceptional curriculum. Working closely with the Management Team, learning assistant principals, and faculty, the Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation Leader will lead the design and implementation of a curriculum aligned with contemporary educational research and best practices.
Provide educational leadership and vision based on contemporary international research and practice, while planning, initiating, and managing development and change to achieve broader school goals. Monitor, identify, and advise the Head of School on relevant curriculum trends, ensuring best practices are upheld. Promote excellence and innovative practice in learning and teaching, fostering a growth mindset learning culture. Identify and investigate curriculum needs, driving a future-focused agenda, and promote ongoing academic research, innovation, and key initiatives to continually develop opportunities for students. Demonstrate continued professional growth through participation in professional activities and organizations, and act as a professional learning leader, presenting to staff and other audiences where appropriate.

- Oversee the analysis of student learning data, including the guaranteeing of effective and consistent report card procedures and grading; manage the assessment calendars
- Coordinate with learning assistant principals and program coordinators to ensure horizontal and vertical articulation of the educational programs (European Framework, IGCSE, IBO).
- Oversee the implementation of the school's professional growth and evaluation process in collaboration with the section principals.
- In collaboration with the section principals and head of school design the school's professional development programs (in-service days, in-house workshops, conferences, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Management Team to review and evaluate the results of assessment tools and strategies used by the school.
- Being visible to students and teachers from the start of school each day (i.e. intervening on issues before school), and being a model of attendance at school functions, events and meetings;
- Ensure parents are informed about academic choices, pathways and possibilities, through timely presentations about processes and educational developments in the school;
- Attending to the learning environment around school (e.g. displays) and supporting the marketing of the school and the celebration of student learning internally and externally.
