POSITION SUMMARY
Provides security services to U.S. Department of Defense installations located OCONUS. Ensures all tasks, such as entry control, towers, patrols, vehicle and personnel searches and bag screening are conducted in accordance with the contract. Provides updates and status reports; writes spot reports and incident reports, as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure guard post is properly manned, monitors performance of assigned work/duty space
- Provide static installation access control, static perimeter security, roving security patrols, intrusion detection system monitoring to include ESS
- Monitor IDS/ACS Alarm systems and various other security related devices within and around an ECP
- Professionally interface with the client and maintain professional posture for entirety of shift
- Report all alarm discrepancies or security violations immediately to leadership
- Adhere to DoD policies and procedures on safeguarding classified information, personnel access control, communications security and technical security
- Maintain all relevant computer accounts and accesses in support of the project
- Conduct inspections of work-related equipment and informs leadership of any deficiencies
- Ensure that all post and general orders and procedures are followed, as well as special instructions or information
- Communicate with Guard Shift Leader and Operations Center to provide reports and report incidents and emergencies
- Adhere to and actively supports company policies, procedures and standards
- Maintain annual refresher training and physical fitness requirements
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years of experience during the past 5 years performing law enforcement or facility/installation security services for a government agency, the armed forces, the civilian police or a commercial security agency
- Must meet all general requirements of the contract including age requirement; must be between 20-55 years old at time of hire
- Must attend company provided training, qualify and be a certified as a trained security guard
- Physically capable of performing assigned guard duties
- Able to successfully complete a physical fitness test consisting of performing a 1-mile run in under 10 minutes, 20 pushups in 2 minutes, and 25 sit-ups in 2 minutes all within one session not to exceed 90 minutes
- Must have received an honorable discharge as verified by a form DD-214 (U.S. Military) if applicable
- Must have a High School Diploma or higher-level proof of education
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Shall possess an active U.S. Top Secret-SCI Clearance level. (must undergo CI Polygraph once job is accepted, and prior to working)

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work, including walking, running, standing, pulling, and pushing in wet, icy, or muddy areas. Perform physical demanding work in both hot and cold atmosphere conditions while wearing duty equipment and PPE. The work may also be intermittently inside and outside. Inside an individual must be able to sit or stand at a computer and monitor alarms, CCTV systems, and other security devices. Interactions can be over the telephone, internet, or in person regarding customer service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
