Internship

This independent agency based in hip Berlin-Kreuzberg is booking some of the finest European and UK artists. The agency handles the live performances of their clients by working with local and national promoters in all European countries and by giving advice on the best tour and career opportunities. In addition to acting as a booking agency, they are involved in creative projects like event programming for the famous Berghain Club and many more. This event management internship is available for three months and you will be working three days a week – so that leaves you with enough time to explore Berlin and surroundings in the meantime; and of course to visit some of the agencies events.

Profile Student

We are looking for an enthusiastic student that has excellent communicative skills and is not shy to interact with a diverse group of people (colleagues, press, managers, labels etc.). You are easy-going and do not stress out easily.

Field of study

Daily tasks

Assisting booking agents with organizational tasks
Liaising with publicists, managers, labels and other professionals and monitoring marketing & promo activities for the upcoming tour dates
Maintaining of the database
Research
Supporting artists and their teams with logistics and other organizational matters during tours
Social media activities (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
Updating their website with new content
Assisting with the different Berlin events
Managing ticket sales for upcoming shows
General office support

You are/ have

Enthusiasm for music, good knowledge of the international music landscape and ideally experience working in the field (for example concert promotion, tour booking, record label, management)
Experience in business administration
Experience in project management
An excellent working knowledge of (MAC OS) software, Office, Excel, graphic software, email software; familiarity with CMS such as WordPress a plus
Excellent communication skills in German and English
Strong organization and communicative skills
Strong team skills as well as the ability to thrive in a small team
High level of self-motivation and -initiative
Knowledge of social media tools
