What will you do:
As a COMSEC Planner responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Recognized subject matter expert in COMSEC (iAPP/KMI SME)
- Serves as iApp/KMI advisor regarding all COMSEC issues and acts as liaison between CCIB COMSEC accounts.
- Manges all COMSEC in accordance with authoritative COMSEC policy and procedures
- Develops Emergency Action Plans and Standard Operating Procedures for government review
- Perform COMSEC audits and inspections
- Maintain up-to-date records of COMSEC inventory and submit required accounting reports IAW policies and procedures.
- Complete required COMSEC training within the required performance timelines.
- Order, receipt, loading and management of COMSEC keying material using devices such as the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Simple Key Loader (SKL) and other devices as necessary.
- Ensure each COMSEC Element accounts are in compliance with DoD policies.
- Provide technical and administrative support to COMSEC equipment holders.
- Assist in properly storing, managing, and maintaining accountability on all COMSEC material and assets.
Experience:
- High School/GED + 11 Yrs, or Associates + 9 Yrs, or Bachelors + 3 Yrs,
- Clearance Requirement: TS SCI
